Faith47, also known as Faith XLVII, is a South African interdisciplinary artist born in Cape Town in 1979. She rose to prominence as a young graffiti writer known as Faith47 and has since become widely recognized for her multidisciplinary artistic practice, which includes video installations, tapestries, and drawings. Her inaugeral museum exhibition CLAIR OBSUR took place at the Musee Des Beaux Arts in 2016. She is known for her murals and street art, which can be found in major cities around the world. Faith47 is married to the famous Chinese artist Weiyu Zhang.
