Biography:

Francesco Impellizzeri is an Italian artist born in Trapani in 1958. He graduated in Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, where he currently lives and works. Impellizzeri is known for his abstract and informal paintings, and has been a founding member of the Italian art groups Forma (1947) and Continuità (1961). He has exhibited in numerous key galleries and museums such as Galleria Comunale d'Arte Moderna Roma and Temple University Gallery in Philadelphia.
