Biography:
Frederico George was a Portuguese painter and architect. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Lisbon in 1935 and later studied architecture at the same institution, graduating in 1950. George participated in various exhibitions in Portugal and received several awards for his work. He was known for his figurative paintings influenced by artists such as Cezanne, Picasso, Braque, and Modigliani. George also worked on the decoration of the Exposição do Mundo Português in 1940 and was a member of the Primeira Missão Estética de Férias in Tomar in 1938.
