Biography:

Gabriel Del Barco was a Spanish painter who arrived in Lisbon around 1669. He established himself as a painter of ceilings and later as a tile painter. He is known for his extraordinary work, the 'Grand Panorama of Lisbon', which is one of the most important works in the collection of the National Azulejo Museum in Lisbon, Portugal. Not much is known about his life after 1701, when he returned to Spain.
