Biography:
Gabriele Garavaglia is an Italian artist born in Vercelli in 1981. He studied architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London and at the Polytechnic University of Milan. He has worked as an assistant to Alberto Garutti in Milan and Armin Linke in Berlin. His artistic production is rooted in conceptual art and operates halfway between subject, site-specific and narrative. His imagery draws on various forms of popular culture, such as science fiction literature and subculture. He has exhibited his work in numerous key galleries and museums, including Le Consortium.
