Biography:

Gareth Nyandoro is a Zimbabwean visual artist born in 1982 in Harare, Zimbabwe. He is known for his mixed media drawings and installations. Nyandoro studied at the Chinhoyi University of Technology in Zimbabwe and later at the Royal College of Art in London, where he obtained his MA in Painting in 2014. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Africa, Europe, and North America. In 2015, he represented Zimbabwe at the Venice Biennale. Nyandoro's work often explores the relationship between urban life, politics, and popular culture in Zimbabwe. He currently lives and works in Harare.
