Biography:

Han Shuli is a Chinese contemporary artist born in November 1948. He is known for his paintings that express the creation of a painter, with six characters in Chinese: "Que peindre, comment peindre". His preferred subject matter is landscapes and Tibetan culture. Han Shuli has held retrospective exhibitions of his work, including one in Beijing to document his 40-year journey in Tibet.
