Biography:
Hayrapet was an Armenian painter from Iran. He was born in the 17th century and was active in the late 17th century. He is known for his work on the Four Gospels manuscript, which he completed in 1686. The manuscript is written on vellum and is in the style of illuminated manuscripts. Hayrapet was also the father of the famous Armenian painter Naghash Hovnatan.
