Herb Aach, also known as Herbert Aach, was an American painter and writer born in New York, United States in 1923. He was known for his intense and well-placed pigmentation in his painting style, which stemmed from his deep interest in color theory and color relationships. This interest led him to write one of the most notable translations of Goethe's Color Theory. He passed away in 1985.
