Kota Hirakawa is a Japanese artist born in 1987 in Kochi, Japan. He currently lives and works in Saitama, Japan. Hirakawa studied at Tokyo University of the Arts, where he obtained his BFA and MFA. His works often deal with historical and social themes, and he has been recognized for his ability to create a sense of realism in his pieces. Hirakawa has exhibited in various galleries and museums, and his works can be found in private collections. He was a participant in the aatm art award tokyo in 2013.
