Hiroko Miyama, Masanobu Miyama

Biography:

Hiroko Miyama and Masanobu Miyama are a husband and wife quilting team from Japan. Hiroko pieces the quilt tops, Masanobu does the appliqué, and Hiroko does the machine quilting. They have won several awards for their quilts, including 2nd Place in the Large Wall Quilts: Pictorial category at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah, KY 2016 and 1st Place in the Wall Quilts: Quilter's Choice Category at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah, KY 2023. Their quilts often feature images of their grandchildren and pets. Hiroko was also featured in the Celebrating 15 Years Commemorative Quilt Exhibition at The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, KY in 2013.
