Biography:
Hiroshi Ishiguro is a Japanese engineer and director of the Intelligent Robotics Laboratory, part of the Department of Systems Innovation in the Graduate School of Engineering Science at Osaka University, Japan. He is known for his work in robotics, particularly the development of the Actroid, a humanoid robot with a lifelike appearance and visible behavior such as facial movements. Ishiguro was born in Osaka, Japan in 1963.
