Robert Pashby, also known as Ian Robert Pashby, was born in Hull, England in 1956. He is a researcher in the field of ophthalmology, with a focus on the study of the long-term rate of recurrence of ptosis and other postoperative complications after frontalis suspension. He has published several studies in collaboration with Bita Esmaeli and Hans Chung. Pashby received his BMet from the University of Sheffield in 1978 and his Doctor of Philosophy in 1983. He is currently affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada.
