Biography:

Ignacy Bulla is a polish painter, graphic artist, sculptor and satirist. He was born on December 23, 1940 in Syberia. He is a graduate of the State Art School in Bydgoszcz and the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Poznań. In 1975, he founded the Bydgoszcz Group together with Michał Kubiak and Janusz Bałdyga. He is a ministerial expert in the field of contemporary painting. His works can be found in the collections of the Museum of Art in Bydgoszcz, the Center for Contemporary Art in Toruń, the Museum of Pharmacy, as well as in private collections in Germany, Canada, France, England, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Australia, Finland, USA, and Japan. He is considered one of the most outstanding contemporary Polish portraitists.
