Biography:

Jan Grégoire was a Dutch painter of portraits, still lifes and landscapes. He was educated at the Ecole Normale des Arts du Dessin in Brussels. In 1910, he moved to Amsterdam, where he went to the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten from 1913 to 1916. He was a versatile artist and painted in a realistic style. He was a member of the artist society Arti et Amicitiae in Amsterdam. He died in Amsterdam in 1960.
