Biography:

Janet DeBoos is an Australian ceramic artist born in Warrandyte, Victoria in 1946. She is known for her work in porcelain and has exhibited in Australia, the United States, and the United Kingdom. DeBoos has also taught ceramics at the Australian National University and has written several books on the subject. She is a member of the Australian Ceramics Association and has received numerous awards for her work, including the Order of Australia Medal in 2006.
