Biography:

Johann Christian Wich was born in Bayreuth in 1806 or 1807. He founded his company in 1837 and he died on the 11th July, 1887. His company continued through to the 1960's. Wich's company is known for producing silver steins with a basemark on the left feature, showing J.C. Wich Nürnberg and 800 grade silver. The company was known for producing high quality silver products and was in business for over 120 years.
