Biography:
John Buck is an American printmaker and sculptor, best known for his bronze sculptures and woodblock prints. He was born in Ames, IA, and graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1968. Buck's work often explores themes of nature, mythology, and popular culture. He has had numerous solo exhibitions and his work is held in collections around the world, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
