José Dalmau Carles, also known as Josep Dalmau i Carles, was a Spanish pedagogue and editor born in Sant Cebrià dels Alls in 1857 and died in Girona in 1928. He was a passionate educator who founded the editorial 'Dalmau, Carles & Cia.' in 1904. In 1894, he wrote 'Aritmética razonada y nociones de álgebra'. He is known for his contributions to education and publishing in Spain.
