Joseph Lorenzl, also known as Josef Lorenzl, was an Austrian sculptor and ceramicist born in Vienna, Austria in 1892. He died in Vienna in 1950. Lorenzl is known for his exceptional contributions to the Art Deco movement, creating sculptures and figurines in bronze and ivory, considered delicate and fantaisist. He started working at the Vienna Arsenal in the foundry, where he learned the techniques of bronze casting. Lorenzl's work is highly praised by art collectors for its detailed form and illusion of movement.
