Josh Bitelli is a British artist born in 1989 in Leeds, United Kingdom. He received a BA (Hons) in Design & Craft from the University of Brighton in 2012. Bitelli's work is influenced by his experiences working alongside road painters, roofers, industrial bakers, and even joining the production line at Caterpillar Inc. His furniture and objects are inspired by the oddities and intricacies of these industrial processes. Bitelli has presented his work in various solo and group exhibitions, including at Chisenhale Gallery, Cell Project Space, and Cove Park. He has also collaborated with other artists such as Felix Melia, exploring the city's infrastructure and industrial processes.
