Joshua Smith, also known as J-Smoove, is an American former professional basketball player who played 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born in Middletown, Connecticut, and raised in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Smith made his NBA debut in 2004, playing for the Atlanta Hawks. He also played for the Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, and New Orleans Pelicans. Smith is known for his versatility and athleticism on the court, and he was a three-time NBA All-Star. He retired from professional basketball in 2017.
