Biography:

L'Atlas, also known as Jules Dedet, is a French painter, photographer and video artist born in France in 1978. He studied calligraphy, typography and editing techniques for documentaries. He had several solo and collective exhibitions, including 'I WAS HERE' at Galerie Beaubourg in Paris in 2007, 'The way of art' at ESA in Paris in 2009, 'L'ATLAS IS HERE' at Mois de la Photo Off in Galerie G in Paris in 2010, and 'Street Art' at Galerie du Jour in Paris in 2001. He also participated in performances and biennales, such as 'Maison du Japon' in Venice in 2003, 'Surfaces actives' at Art Beijing in Beijing in 2009, and 'Qui Vive / Moscow International Biennale for Young Art' in Moscow in 2010. He is also known for his participation in the Rallye du Maroc in 2016 with his artwork 'Black Marble'.
