Biography:

Karena Ryan is an artist based in the West of Ireland. She creates unique handmade textile art inspired by Irish poetry, music, landscape, and the Wild Atlantic Way. Her work combines hand stitching and machine embroidery, paint, type, and beading to create original artwork. Karena also designs and hand-makes each piece from her studio in the West of Ireland, near the Wild Atlantic Way. She has exhibited her work in various galleries and has been featured in Craft NI Exhibitions. Karena is also a member of the Design & Crafts Council Ireland.
