Biography:
Katherine Steele Renninger was an American artist born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1925. She was known for her abstract patterns and precisionism style. Renninger was a lifelong resident of Pennsylvania and received her education at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She was a prolific artist and her works have been exhibited in numerous galleries and museums, including the Princeton University Art Museum and the James A. Michener Art Museum. Renninger's artworks often depict scenes of everyday life, and she was particularly interested in the relationship between technology and nature. She passed away in 2004.
