Biography:
Keith Edmier is an American sculptor and actor born in 1967 in Chicago. He received his B.F.A. in 1986 from the California Institute of the Arts and currently lives and works in New York. Edmier is known for his sculptures of plants in resin, and his work often explores themes of sex, death, and religion. He has had solo exhibitions at the Hessel Museum in Bard College and the Petzel Gallery in New York, and his work has been included in group exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Tate in London.
