Kim Nampyo, also known as Kim Nam-Pyo, is a contemporary South Korean artist born in Seoul in 1970 or 1973. He is known for his striking mixed-media sculptures and installations that often explore themes of memory and cultural heritage. Kim Nam-Pyo received both his B.A. and M.A. in Painting from Seoul National University. His paintings are often super-natural still life depictions of animals, and he has also experimented with various materials such as oil paint, iron pieces, artificial fur, charcoal, pastel, and conte. Kim Nampyo's artworks have been exhibited in various galleries and museums, and some of his notable works include 'Instant Landscape 71' (2008).
