Biography:
Klaus Leidorf is a German aerial archaeologist born on June 5, 1956. He studied Protestant theology and pre- and early history at the University of Bonn and Marburg from 1976 to 1983. After completing his studies, he worked as a scientific assistant at the University of Marburg from 1983 to 1985 and then as an employee at the Bavarian State Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments from 1985 to 1989. In 1988, he obtained his private pilot license and began working as an aerial archaeologist with a focus on Bavaria. He has also held lectureships at various universities, including Marburg, Würzburg, and Ruhr-University Bochum. Klaus Leidorf founded the publishing company Verlag Marie Leidorf, which specializes in archaeological literature.
