Lambert Glandorf

Biography:

Lambert Glandorf was a German painter active in the 16th century. He is known for his painted epitaph to the fallen Blackheads, which depicts the oldest preserved view of Tallinn. The epitaph was commissioned in 1561 and commemorates the loss of 10 members of the Tallinn Brotherhood of Blackheads in a battle against the Russian czar Ivan IV in 1560.
