Leang Seckon is a contemporary Cambodian artist who was born in Prey Veng province in the early 1970s. He is a prominent member of the emerging Cambodian art scene and his work draws heavily on intimate narratives of his childhood memories. Seckon's painting and collaging art practice offers insights into memories, history, current issues, and personal narratives of his childhood, chronicling an undocumented Cambodia. He is one of the most well-known artists in Cambodia and his work has been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world.
