Biography:
Lee Jongkeun, also known as Lee Jong-keun, was born in Hiroshima, Japan in 1927. He was a Korean survivor of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima during World War II. He was 16 years old at the time of the bombing. Lee's testimony serves as a reminder that not only Japanese people survived the atomic bombs, but thousands of Korean people were also there. He passed away in 2022 at the age of 93. In addition to being a survivor and sharing his story, Lee was also a professor at Changwon National University in South Korea. He received his B.S. degree in Electronics and Radio engineering from the Kyunghee University in 2015 in Yongin, Korea.
