Biography:

Lesha Marie Rodriguez is a multidisciplinary photographer and instructor of Digital Arts and Media at Hartnell College. She was born in Salinas, California, to a father who was a migrant worker, and her rugged spirit comes as a direct result of witnessing her family's daily struggles. Lesha works in alternative photo processes such as lumen printing, cyanotype, cyanolumens, and chemigrams. She has received recognition for her work, including the 2020 Denis Roussel Award from RFOTOFOLIO. Lesha's photography often explores themes of identity, culture, and personal history.
