Biography:
Lídia Lisboa is a Brazilian artist born in Guaíra, Paraná in 1970. She works in installation, performance, ceramic, textile, and sculpture. Lisboa is one of the many Black artists who have emerged from the highly racially prejudiced South Region of Brazil, as a result of the 'population whitening' agenda. She currently lives and works in São Paulo.
