Linett Kamala is a boundary-defying creative powered by plants – an interdisciplinary artist, academic and carnivalist born in Harlesden, London, U.K. to Jamaican parents. She lives and works in London and is widely known for being the first black person to be a head teacher in the United Kingdom in 1967. She is also known for her work as a DJ, Interdisciplinary Artist, Cultural Expert, Academic, Creative Producer & Founding Director of Lin Kam Art.
