Lisa Oppenheim is an American multimedia artist, born in New York City in 1975. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Brown University, focusing on modern culture and media. Oppenheim's work often explores themes of history, memory, and cultural identity. She has exhibited in numerous institutions, including MoMA, the Guggenheim Museum, and Huis Marseille. Oppenheim is also known for her 2004 remake of the silent-era pornographic film 'A Free Ride'.
