Biography:
Liu Hualiang is a National first-class artist and a member of the Teachers and Students Association of the National Academy of Painting. He is also the Deputy Director of the Art Museum of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Director of the Xingtai Branch, and President of Xi Mozhai Modern Landscape Art Research Institute. Liu Hualiang is known for his landscape paintings and has been featured in Google Arts & Culture. He is not to be confused with Liu Hualiang, a Chinese emerging artist featured in Artsy's 20 Chinese Emerging Artists You Should Know. Liu Hualiang is also not to be confused with Huang Shaoqiang, a Chinese artist of the Lingnan School who lived from 1901 to 1942. Liu Hualiang is also not to be confused with Liu Jingtang, a Chinese artist whose biography can be found on MutualArt. Liu Hualiang is also not to be confused with Hung Liu, a Chinese artist who lived from 1948 to 2021 and whose work can be found on the Smithsonian's website. Liu Hualiang is also not to be confused with Li Huayi, a Chinese contemporary ink painting master who is one of the most important Chinese artists today. Liu Hualiang is also not to be confused with the artist who created the artwork 'Luohan, Attendant, and Tiger' in 1708, as this artwork was created by the Lingnan School artist Huang Shaoqiang.
