Lois Bartlett Tracy was an American artist born in Jackson, Mississippi in 1901 and died in 2008. She was known for her abstract painter style and her use of color. Tracy's work had been shown in exhibitions throughout the United States and she was hailed as a visionary artist. She was also a teacher and inspired many other artists. Her painting 'Textural Space' was created in 1947 and is an oil on canvas.
