Biography:
Ludovico Picchi and Angelo Picchi were members of one of the prime pottery-making families in Castel Durante, Italy. They were the sons of Giorgio Picchi and owned a workshop together. They were active in the 16th century and are known for their maiolica ceramics. One of their most famous works is the 'Dish with Diana and Actaeon' (1560).
