Luke Jerram is a British installation artist born in 1974 in Stroud, United Kingdom. He creates sculptures, and large artwork installations, and live arts projects. Jerram's multidisciplinary arts practice involves the creation of sculptures, installations and live arts projects. He has had over 104 exhibitions in 25 different countries in 2022 alone. One of his most famous works is the Museum of the Moon, a 7 meters (23 ft) spherical artwork of the Moon, with a surface decorated with 120dpi printed imagery of the Moon's surface from NASA's Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. The artwork was first exhibited at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta in June 2016. Jerram also completed a similar 7 meters (23 ft) spherical artwork of the Earth viewed from space in 2018.
