Biography:

The Maestro dei Mesi di Ferrara was an Italian sculptor active in the 13th century. He is known for creating a cycle of sculptures depicting the months, which were originally located at the Duomo of Ferrara and are now conserved at the Museo della Cattedrale. The artist is believed to have been a follower of Benedetto Antelami and was active between 1220 and 1230. He is also attributed with creating a lunette featuring the Adoration of the Magi, which is now located in San Mercuriale in Forlì.
