Biography:

Mahmoud Moussa was an Egyptian modern sculptor. He was born in Alexandria in 1913 and started his artistic training at the age of 13. He attended evening classes provided by the Société des Amis de l’art governed by Mahmoud Said. He started his career independently instead of being affiliated with any specific artistic group. Mahmoud Moussa passed away in 2003.
