Biography:

Manish Nai is an Indian contemporary artist born in 1980 in Bhavnagar, India. He is known for his minimalist and abstract works, often created using unconventional materials such as jute, newspapers, and cow dung. Nai's practice explores the relationship between tradition and modernity, as well as the tension between the organic and the industrial. His work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows, including at the Galerie Karsten Greve, which represents him. Nai has also participated in several international biennials, including the Kochi-Muziris Biennale (2016) and the Shanghai Biennale (2018). He currently lives and works in Mumbai, India.
