Biography:
Marco Tamburro was born in Perugia, Italy in 1974. He graduated in Architecture and Interior Design at the Art Institute of his city; in 1994 he moved to Milan and enrolled in the Course of Scenografia all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. He developed an interest in the world of theater and began collaborating with photographers and scenographers as an assistant. In 1999, he completed his formation at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma. Tamburro's work is characterized by its use of large-scale paintings that explore themes such as everyday life, loss of values, existence, and human beings. He has exhibited his work in various public and private spaces, including the Museo Civico di Palazzo della Penna, Perugia; Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Firenze; MACRO Testaccio – La Pelanda, Roma; Black Square Gallery, Miami; and others.
