Mario Cresci is an Italian artist and photographer, born in Chiavari, Italy in 1942. He was one of the first artists of his generation to apply and unite the culture of projects with experimentation in visual languages. He is known for his unique approach to photography and art, and has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world. In 2023, he became the director-general of the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo, Italy.
