Biography:
Marzenna J. Krol, also known as Marzenna Jadwiga Krol, was born in 1965 in Legnicy, Poland. She is a quilter and textile artist, known for her intricate and colorful quilts. Krol came to the United States in 1981 and worked for the Mennonites in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Her quilt 'Basket of Flowers', made in 1982, is one of her most famous works and is part of the collection of the National Quilt Museum. Krol currently resides in Kihei, Hawaii.
