Biography:
Matthias Neumann is a German artist and architect based in New York and Athens, Greece. He was born in Dresden, Germany, where he graduated with an architectural degree from the University of Dresden. Neumann is known for his sculptures and installations that often explore the intersection of art and architecture. He has exhibited his work in galleries and museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Venice Biennale. In addition to his artistic practice, Neumann is also a respected educator and has held teaching positions at several prestigious institutions, including the Architectural Association in London and the Cooper Union in New York.
