Biography:

Mehram Koka was born in Ahmedabad, India in 1550. He was a Mughal artist who served under Emperor Akbar and later under Emperor Jahangir. He was known for his skill in painting and was responsible for creating many of the illustrations in the Akbarnama and the Jahangirnama. He died in 1615.
