Michael DiRosa is a New York-born, Rome-based visual artist and educator. He works at the intersections of painting, climate & ecology, foodways, and cultural memory. He is also a Program Manager at IARPA, focusing on research in quantum-information science and related fields. DiRosa is also known for his baseball career, having played as a catcher in the minor and independent leagues. He was born on January 17, 1980, and is married with four children.
