Biography:

The Moche civilization, also known as the Moche culture or Early Chimú, flourished along the northern coast of Peru from about 100 to 700 AD. They were not politically organized as a monolithic empire or state but rather a group of autonomous polities that shared a common culture. The Moche are known for their rich iconography and monumental architecture, which can still be seen today.
