Mykhailo Brynskyi, also known as Mykhailo Serhiiovych Hrushevsky, was a Ukrainian historian and politician born on October 22, 1866 in Kindrativ, Kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, Austro-Hungarian Empire. He passed away on April 8, 1934. Brynskyi was a prominent figure in Ukrainian history, known for his contributions to the study of Ukrainian history and his role in Ukrainian politics. He served as the President of the Central Council and was a member of the Shevchenko Scientific Society. Brynskyi's work in the field of history was groundbreaking and he is considered one of the most distinguished Ukrainian historians of all time.
